Our customer is a worldwide leading manufacturer and consists of 9 different branches located all over Europe and is manufacturing and offering outstanding plastics for various applications. The production location in Roermond (NL) started in 1996 and consists of a Sales Division, Administrative Division, Technology Division and a Production Division. Approximately 240 employees are active within Roermond. To complete the Marketing Team we are looking for an:
Assistant Manager Business Development (m/f/d)
Location: Roermond
Purpose of the position:
The Assistant Manager Business Development (m/f/d) is responsible for the marketing of company products and services to the business, customers in automotive and architectural industries like car producers, and the consumer market.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Making and supporting proposals for marketing strategies.
- Developing the Marketing Department together with Marketing Manager in terms of organization, staffing, processes etc.
- Taking responsibility for global customer and guide team members to develop their capabilities.
- Developing plans for product project with Global Marketing Team.
- Making and supporting improvement proposals, following the PDCA cycle.
- Conducting customer research, analysing market conditions, trends and competitors situation.
- Analysing the market of our customer
- Identifying new market opportunities, market requirements (for current & future products) and market changes.
- Monitoring market developments and recognising important developments & the influence of them on the organisation.
- Informing and advising the Marketing Manager considering the marketing policy.
- Implementing the marketing plan and making alterations as needed.
- Visiting customers such as car producers and architects to propose the values and solutions of their products.
- Developing a company-wide plan to push products, working with all departments for its execution.
- Expanding and improving promotion tools and attractiveness of our customers products.
- Analysing and delivering (global) marketing data.
- Analysing marketing data and ways to reach (new) clients.
- Implementing improvements regarding marketing.
- Setting ROMI (Return of Marketing Investment) target against all marketing items and improving it.
Personal profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a marketing director, like Commercial Economy.
- At least 4 years of experience as Sales or Marketing representative.
- Verbal and writing English & German skills on a business level.
