For our customer, an engineering company, we are looking for a HR Administrator (m/f/d) Location: Cologne Main responsibilities

  • Assist with employment contract generation
  • Support PeopleLink system updates and database management
  • Respond to employee queries, submitted to the central People team email box
  • Assist with employee file maintenance – soft and hard copy
  • Act as back up to the payroll lead – support as required with monthly payroll submission to payroll partner
  • Support compliance activities and ensure timely creation and circulation of employment documents, requiring wet signature
  • Support other team members with ad hoc project work
  • General Purpose of Role Administers HR policies and procedures and capable of advising and guiding customers through common human resources issues. Provides tactical support to line managers. Is also involved in the coordination of performance management procedures, recruitment and retention strategies as well as succession planning. Additional Information Becoming proficient at identifying and defining issues, participating in collaborative efforts and learning the art of collaborative and empathetic solution based consultative advice. Develop a commercial acumen understanding the impact of role on business. Learning to be flexible, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities. Qualifications
  • University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typically 3+ years relevant experience
  • Ability to handle confidential information and display complete discretion at all times
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Problem solving abilities, to bringing solutions ensuring that the office is operating efficiently, and paperwork is in an organised manner
  • Be able to engage with all levels within the business, from junior to directors
